Low vision is the decrease in visual acuity due to a disease process. When corrected, it is measured at 20/70 or less in one or both eyes.
Goals of low vision rehabilitation
- Learning how to best use remaining vision
- Adapting and modifying activities of daily living.
- Problem solving for future difficulties with activities of daily living due to low vision.
