Annual Love Lights Tree Lighting Ceremony

     There’s still time to remember or honor a loved one at the Fairview Lakes Auxiliary’s annual Love Lights Tree Lighting ceremony at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, at Fairview Lakes Medical Center in Wyoming. This year’s ceremony, which is open to the public, will include the reading of the names of those honored or memorialized, the tree lighting, entertainment and holiday refreshments. All funds donated provide scholarships for students pursuing health care careers.

     For a donation of $10, you can purchase a light to memorialize a deceased loved one, to honor a relative or friend or to express a holiday greeting.

     For a donation of $100 or more, you can provide an ongoing memorial for a deceased loved one or friend. Every year, a gold or crystal ornament will be added to the lighted tree at Fairview Lakes Medical Center for the person you memorialize with your gift, and the name of that loved one will be listed every year thereafter in the LoveLights program and memory album.

     The names of those honored and of the donors are recorded in a memory album displayed near the chapel at Fairview Lakes Medical Center. Love Lights donation forms are available at the same location. Names submitted before Friday, Nov. 14, will be recorded in the program distributed at the Dec 6 ceremony; however, Love Lights donations are welcome throughout the year.

     To make a donation, complete and submit the form . Forms can also be obtained near the chapel at Fairview Lakes Medical Center, in the community health outreach office at 11725 Stinson Ave. in Chisago City, or simply send the donation for each person/event you wish to honor to: Love Lights, Fairview Lakes Auxiliary, Attention: Volunteer Services, 5200 Fairview Blvd., Wyoming, MN 55092.

     When making your donation, please identify the person honored, the name, address and telephone number of the donor and the name and address of anyone who should be notified of the gift.
